What does Ceedee Lamb bring to the cowboys?

CeeDee Lamb is coming of his best college year, with 1300+ receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. I believe that the cowboys will be a competitive team, with possibly one of the best offenses in the league. The cowboys led the league in yards per game, with an average of 431.5 yards. Dak Prescott had a total of a whopping 4902 yards passing, while Jamies Winston was at 5109 yards. However, next season, both these stats will increase with the addition of Lamb.

Lamb will be joining an already elite wide receiver duo of Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup who both surpassed 1000 receiving yards in 2019. Ceedee will most probably replace Randall Cobb who played the slot receiver in 2019. Of course Lamb brings an immediate deep threat to the cowboys offense, but NFL analyst Greg Cosell mentioned that 42 percent of Lamb’s receptions last year came out of the slot.

“He is a dynamic football player,” said cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy.

This hints on how the cowboys don't intend to use him just as a slot receiver, and how he will compete for the number 1 position.

"CeeDee Lamb is not coming here to be just the third receiver,” said Michael Irvin, the Cowboys Hall of Fame receiver.

Ceedee Lamb has exactly what a star receiver should have ; Route running skills, aggressive catching, RAC ability, the ability to read defenses and also acts as a great run blocker. Dak Prescott could possibly have one of the most aggressive offenses in the league with Amari Cooper, Ceedee Lamb, Micheal Gallup and Ezekiel Elliot in the back.
